All the latest news .........

I have been busy stitching once again the past few weeks and have a nice selection of little bears and other creatures sitting on my desk waiting for clothing etc.   The on line show is scheduled for the end of June and for once I am not in a total state of panic about completing everything on time,  you know that feeling that you must have forgotten something?

Melinda is my latest e-bay listing.   She is wearing a purple hand embroidered dress with a crochet trim on the edge of the hem.  This time I used variegated embroidery thread and I am very pleased with the result.  It is a rather drawn out process as I have to button hole stitch around the hem before doing the crochet work but it does look pretty.

We have a small selection of bears available in our Etsy Store. These little bears are all prototypes for a special range of miniature bear patterns designed when we had a teddy bear supply making shop and held workshops. Although these patterns are not used for our exclusive artist bears, each one is made with the same attention to detail and high standard of workmanship.

I have been following the news broadcasts of floods in various parts of Europe, I do hope that my followers in those countries are all safe and well.

The good gardening weather is continuing but the latest forecasts a bleak picture of a wet summer once again.   I have finally managed to plant the potatoes in their bags and lots of tiny onions in the garden and tomatoes in the green house.   Still have vegetable seeds to plant but am feeling rather stretched with just not enough time in the day to do everything.

My flourishing herb garden, any ideas what to do with a large amount of mint.
a corner of the garden which was totally bare when we moved in and now filled with a variety of flowers, rather a jungle but my kind of garden.

My favourite pansies have flourished this year and are the most amazing selection of colours

and just for fun the motion sensor frog found at our local Poundland which I placed in one of the pots in the garden.   The constant 'ribbett ribbett' obviously annoyed Max (the dog) as he carried it inside.   Fortunately I managed to retrieve it before he chewed it up.   The frog is now sitting in one of my hanging baskets as I am rather hoping it will chase away the birds who think that all my new basket liners are just perfect for their nests.

I will share some pictures of our creations for the on line show once it is under way.   Have still not managed to make the dragon I had planned but Hugglets is just around the corner ........

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Wendy, Melinda is so pretty. She reminds me of Lavender Blue dilly dilly, lavender green...... the nursery rhyme.
