A blessed day...................

Little blogging this past week.
It has been a momentous week for our family, St Patrick's Day March 17th, heralded the arrival of Victoria my first grandchild. A big baby weighing 3.82kg, she was born at 7.50 a.m.
Took an early train to London and was privileged to spend the entire day with the proud new parents and their precious little girl.
The next few weeks will most probably see little bear making and several train journeys to London!

What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humour, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies. ~Rudolph Giuliani

Congratulations to you and the new parents. My first grandchild is due at the end of next month. I am so looking forward to the blessed event. Only problem is, my daughter and her husband live way across the country.
