A work in progress......

'Tho I don't seem to be doing much creative work I have been stitching a small crazy patchwork purse whilst watching TV. This is most definitely an ongoing project but I love embroidery and just had the urge to make something different and new.
I set myself the boundary that I would only use what I had on hand (and plenty of that). So I gathered together fabrics, threads, ribbons and beads and started creating. I did buy a couple of threads from the Embroiderer's Guild sale table but those don't really count do they?
Anyway here is the main part of the purse almost complete. I have now started on the other side. In my wisdom (I was so keen to see what it would like when complete) that I stitched the two sections together after completing the embroidery on the main section. Not very wise as I am now battling to work on the one side. Well this is a lesson in the making so next time I will know better.

I have a second one drawn out all in shades of purple which I am planning to start once this project is completed but that could be a while away. Part of the fun of making something like this is putting together all the makings and sorting out colours and beads to work with.
So watch this space between bears there are other things happening.....
