The lucky draw ended yesterday but I thought it would be nice to photograph Bella with all those folded bits of paper. As it is now dark so early I only managed to take some pics this morning.
Unfortunately there can only be one and the winner is "Jane Heather"
and Bella will be flying off to her new home in Canada later in the week. Thank you once again for taking the time to read my blog, hopefully I will manage to organise another draw in the not too distant future.
Just a few pictures to share. My 'green man' plant container which I found at Norfolk Lavender Farm, the last one in stock and the lovely man running the shop gave me a good discount as it had been outside in the rain.
Quite some nose this man has. It has tiny mushrooms growing amongst the tree roots and I think he has a kind face, something special to add to my garden collectibles.
On our day out in London last week Megan was keen to visit Loop, a specialist wool shop in Islington. We wandered through Camden passage looking at all the antique and collectible shops, beautiful things but rather pricey. The wool shop had an amazing selection of wools 'tho I did manage not to be tempted, already have too many single balls of knitting yarns bought on impulse which have to be used first! On our wanderings I found a Chinese shop with a large selection of gem stones and pearls, something for the future perhaps when I have used up all the beads which I have collected. I did find a special birthday treat for myself, this lovely watch. Sold as a 'mechanical' watch, it is a glass ball with all the watch workings visible. Appeals to the child in me even though it needs winding on a daily basis. I need to get creative and make a special beaded chain for it sometime soon .
Now I have to get down to some hard work as the on line show is getting closer by the minute! Back to making bears, hope to have some pictures to share soon of my latest creations.
Wanted: a needle swift enough to sew this fabric into a bear.

Congratulations Jane !! Wendy I just love that planter isn't he fabulous and the watch is lovely.
Hi Megan,
Yes, absolutely the whimsicalness of the planter.. you can almost see the fairies floating around it :) The watch was a great find, I like the exposed workings of a watch or clock too.
Hope you both have a great weekend and my thoughts are with your brother and son at this Remembrance Week.
Take care,
Jane
Wendy, your sweet little Bella looks so darling sitting in all the entries of the draw. I am sure picking out her own new home will make it easier to leave the lovely one she has had with you. She is so darn cute!!!
Your greem man is such an interesting find and will look so awesome in your garden.
And the watch...well, it is wonderful. I have never seen anything like it.
It is alwasy wonderful to see what you are up to in your part of the world. Thank you so much for your kind note.
hugs
Wendy, Hi! Thank you for your wonderful words about the bear, glad to acquaintance and good luck in winning! I would be very happy if he lived at home!
