Another week has flown by and it is the weekend already! Today is a special birthday for my husband and we are planning a small family get together.
Whilst walking past one of the fields this past week something ran next to my foot and I discovered the tiniest little rabbit. As there were a multitude of dogs doing their evening constitutional I was rather worried about it. I know that they are considered vermin and there are so many of them, but I did no want to witness a little bunny's demise. It was so small it simply sat in my hand and I managed to put it back down near one of the many rabbit burrows. Hopefully it found its way back home and mother rabbit (who should have been looking after her offspring) did not reject him as he smelt of human! Had a close encounter with stinging nettles on my arm and legs which was not much fun.
The weather has been quite amazing and very warm. The garden is starting to look a lot better and the clematis, which several months ago consisted of dry twigs, is looking amazing. Tempting me to get out my water colour pencils and start sketching.
I have several bears in waiting, here is a picture of work in progress, still lots to do and more bears to be stitched. Stratford show just a couple of weeks away..............
Finally. a picture of our very own LOLcat, Merlin sitting at the top of the stairs this morning. He looks totally fed up with life, sitting with his paws crossed and a don't mess with me attitude.
Have a great weekend...................
