A special thank you to all our wonderful friends for your kind messages. It still seems strange without the little grey kitty in the house. The other kitties are so obviously mourning the loss of Sasha and spent several days not eating and searching for him in his special places around the house. They seem to be slowly adjusting to him not being here any more.
I do have something to show for several weeks of bear making as (help) Hugglets is only two weekends away!!! Here are some pics of work progress............
Still lots to do and the usual feeling of 'I don't really like what I have made'. I have made arrangements to spend the week immediately prior to the show at home. As I am only employed on a 'temp' basis it will be unpaid leave but I need some quiet time to work and be creative.
The weather has this past week been very cold with lots of sleet. Driving to work has been rather a different experience as one morning the roads were just solid ice, yet another learning curve for this child of Africa and quite honestly the only time I have seen English drivers use a little more caution and not speed or tailgate. Have become used to seeing cars in the deep drainage ditches at the side of the road.
We have hundreds of tiny crocus bulbs coming up in the garden and in the area behind our house, will try and take some pics when the flowers open as it will look quite wonderful. There are subtle signs of spring in the air at last but the bird restaurant is well established as the birds are obviously very hungry. Fortunately we will only be moving away from here some time in April so the birds will continue to have food for some weeks. We are seeing few pheasants around as the hunters have been busy again over the past few weeks and apparently some 200 were killed by poachers!

The house hunting starts again and we are feeling quite unsettled but as one friend pointed out our lives are one big continual adventure, though I do have a sort of 'stop the world I want to get off' feeling at times.
Once again thank you for all your comments, have a wonderful week.
Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
