A new design

A quick blog update just to have a break from stitching.   My latest little bear in her new bolero style cardi.   Knitted from pale blue fine yarn it has puffy sleeves and crochet ruffle trim.  Picking up stitches on the sleeve edges is not too easy but I am pleased with the result although perhaps a little modification to improve the pattern.  

 

Jessica is now on e-bay and has already found a new home.   She looks bright and fresh, just right for spring...........

The weather has improved,  overnight heavy rain very quickly disposed of the snow which had been lying around for so long.    So pleased to see the first signs of spring in the garden and the days are drawing out.
