It is some thirty odd years since we had a baby in the house. My son and daughter in law have just purchased a house but cannot take immediate occupation. I kindly offered to share our home until they can move but did not take into account the disruption to our lives just prior to a major show. Hugglets takes place this coming weekend and we are usually frantically stitching until the last possible minute but having an active toddler in the house puts a different perspective on the situation.
After completing an order of three bears I am now trying to complete my bears for the show. Megan and I usually try to make ten to twelve bears each. So far we have just nine so the pace is a little hectic. Sophie is one of the little bears now on her way to a new home on the other side of the world.
My give away bear little Maddie is now living in the Ukraine and Jeanne has shared some pictures on her blog. Sometimes I wish I could travel the world as easily as my little creations.
Will try and share some pictures of our Hugglets creations later in the week, but in the meantime it is back to work.
Look forward to seeing some of you at the show.

The joy of having a toddler in the house is wonderful. It does halt things like sewing though. Good luck with your sewing this week.

I just can´t imagine how to work on bears with a little toddler in the house - Oh my. I hope you and Megan gets ready in time.
I saw some photos from Cambridge on Megans blog - we´re going to visit Cambridge this year after Hugglets. Looks like a wonderful town. I can´t wait.
We´re leaving tomorrow for London, so today is packing day.
See you on Sunday :-)
