Megan's give away, a little pink bear called Floss is now on her blog, follow the link to take part in that draw.
I have been busy stitching and a new bear called Grady is now listed on e-bay. Decided to use some Sassy fabric for this little boy and knitted dungarees of a rather bright teal blue. Not an easy colour to match up with ribbon so his ruff is made from quilting fabric, the only piece of a myriad of pieces that actually toned with the knitting yarn. The smokey fabric proved difficult to photograph and my first attempts made him look rather 'rat' coloured. I had to wait until the light was just right and try again, playing with Photoshop to get the correct colour.
Hugglets is just around the corner, a couple of orders to complete then busy stitching time ahead.
In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. ~Albert Schweitzer
