My special creation for the Friends of Teddy preview is a dandy little fox called Reynard. He is dressed in purple with vintage lace trim on his jacket. Unfortunately the size limits on the preview site seem to have made him look a little misproportioned.
There is an amazing selection of 'friends' on show, well worth a visit and you can vote for your favourite, just click on Reynard and you will be taken to the preview site.
My latest little girl bear has found a home with one of our special collectors in Europe. Charlotte is made from vintage long pile velvet in palest lilac and is wearing a crochet jacket. This is one of my 'design as you work' patterns and this time I carefully made a note of each row. Of course in my usual scatterbrained fashion a tweak here and there to make it work does help, unfortunately I don't think any one would be able to understand my crochet patterns.
Lots of work still to complete for the on line show, feeling a little uncreative and out of ideas for something new.
Have a wonderful weekend.
I Meant To Do My Work Today
by Richard LeGallienne
I meant to do my work today,
But a brown bird sang in the apple tree,
And a butterfly flitted across the field,
And all the leaves were calling me.
And the wind went sighing over the land,
Tossing the grasses to and fro,
And a rainbow held out its shining hand,
So what could I do but laugh and go?

Your little fox and bear is cute! All the best for the show! =)
Those are absolutely amazing!
Wow I love your Mr. Fox and his beautiful and stylish jacket.
The new bear is sweet too.
Ha ha .......I completely understand you about the fact that others cannot understand your crocheting or knitting patterns.
Would be the same here. As long as we understand our own patterns it's ok Wendy!
Warmest wishes, Thea x
