Her dress is made from fabric which was originally cream self print. Recently when dyeing bear fabric and wondering what to do with a pot of left over dye, I added a few pieces of cotton fabric and think the result looks so pretty. I embroidered a border of tiny rosebuds on the skirt and made something different, a moulded felt hat trimmed with tiny silk ribbon roses.......
Georgina, the little girl with the embroidered cardi has a silk ribbon bow on her head and is now on e-bay...
I am finally recovering from the worst dose of 'flu I have had in years. I am not a good patient as I get bored doing nothing but I did have time to read. Having set myself that target of reading 100 books this year on Good Reads 'reading challenge' I was feeling somewhat concerned that I just might not find time to read. Short of books I raided family book shelves and have reached an impressive five books ahead of my annual target. Still a way to go but it is only early April and the library is a good place to find books from my ever increasing list of must reads!
Until next time .................

Hi Wendy,
Both your new bears turned out great. Pretty good idea with the pot of left over dye. I always keep tiny bottles to save the dyes.
I love the felted hat too ♥
When I have the flu I'm the same as you, a very bored person, not the nicest one. I lock myself up in the puter-room, to keep me company :o)
Have a nice day and I hope you feel well pretty soon.
Hugs, Thea x
