I don't seem to make many seasonally 'themed' creations now but my latest little Easter bunny is rather special and now on her way to a new home in America. She is made from pale yellow long pile fabric and I have used rose print cotton to line her ears and for her paw and foot pads. The tiny 'Fabergé' style egg around her neck is one of those finds that is bought in anticipation of being used some day and it was perfect for this little girl. So introducing Penelope a little rabbit with lots of attitude and her very own Easter egg.
I have made some progress in the garden, still a fair amount to do so between visits and visiting, birthdays and some bear making I do hope to at least get the vegetable garden organised. Pictures of the various bears made recently to be shared next time.
Wishing you all a most peaceful and wonderful Easter.
I
think that no matter how old or infirm I may become, I will always
plant a large garden in the spring. Who can resist the feelings of hope
and joy that one gets from participating in nature's rebirth? ~Edward
