Bears and work and a hat................

The snow has melted and we had a sunny day over the weekend. There are tiny green shoots of some bulbs coming up in the garden.  Just when we were starting to feel a little settled, our landlord has decided to sell the house we are renting so we could be moving again in a few months time. I am just not ready to commit to buying a house at this stage and house prices are so high in this country that we might just have to win the lottery to buy something! Megan regularly takes a ticket each week and won all of £6 this past weekend! Now the Euromillions were some £52m that would have been a nice win.
The past few days have flown by, adjusting my life to being a working girl is taking some time but I have finally completed some bears to send off to America. Now I have to get working on something for e-bay and Hugglets.

This is a picture of work in progress, some complete bears and bits of bear all ready and waiting. Next picture shows Bastien and Grace all dressed and ready to go,

The wintry weather has meant warm clothing, boots and scarves. I also decided that I needed a warm hat to wear and found the knitting needles and bought some wool. The pattern I found was for a beret type hat knitted on circular needles It is in a pretty heather purple. It has turned out very nice but somewhat large as I did not use the correct wool for the pattern. However, as I am a large size lady of mature years it suits me fine but my family seem to find it extremely funny. So here is the purple hat. Oh well until next time...................
