Halloween celebrations................

A very short quick update and a few pics taken of our contribution to Halloween. Megan always has enjoyed creating bears with a Halloween theme and she had great fun carving a pumpkin for our front entrance as well as decorating the front window of the house with cut outs.

We had a few children 'trick and treating' and most of our neighbours had carved pumpkins on the front doorstep.

and finally a picture of our very own alien kitties.

Thank you to all of you who have left comments for the lucky draw, I have enjoyed reading them and following up by visiting your blogs. So many lovely people with things to share, it is amazing how the internet has opened up the world. Amelia is anxiously waiting to discover where her new home will be!

This weekend there is a craft show quite near home with a number of interesting exhibitors. On Sunday we will be in London for the Remembrance Day Parade for Austin's regiment in Barnet. Hopefully the weather will be kind and I can take some photographs.

I have been busy knitting little cardies and also trying to fit in some beading...............

Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
