Our next move...................

We have finally received confirmation that the house in Bury, Cambridgeshire is ours to rent. As we have always owned our houses and only rented for about six months between moves, all the red tape involved in getting this rental was a little stressful.
I will be driving to the UK next Friday to sign all the necessary papers. As I will be on my own I am planning to take the opportunity to load the car with our belongings. We have been good and not acquired too much 'stuff' but with all my bear making and beading materials, bedding and winter clothing there seems to be a lot to move. I then return to France with Megan to make the final move with the kitties the following weekend. It will be good to finally have a home of our own again.
I have been busy with my bear making and this weekend I am hoping to update our web page with some of my latest creations which I will be taking to the Hugglets show on September 13th. As we might not have internet access for some days in early September, I will not be able to keep my blog up to date. However, I will report on the next part of our journey just as soon as I can.
I recently had an enquiry for a miniature meerkat. I first made one in 1997 which was featured in Teddy Bear & Friends. As our collectors know I do not like orders and making repeats, but I have completed two of these little creatures and just to prove that I have been doing some work here they are:
I am honoured to have received two awards for my blog. I still have to add these when I have some time and I am also trying to change to a three column layout. There seems to be some information on Google but I will have to experiment to get it to work and this also takes precious time, which I don't have much to spare at the moment.

How hard it is to escape from places. However carefully one goes they hold you - you leave little bits of yourself fluttering on the fences - like rags and shreds of your very life. ~Katherine Mansfield
